Marian Genet captures stories of people straight through canvas. With tuft guns, yarn, loops and threads she doesn’t make carpets but colorful battlegrounds of energy and movement. Each field an experience, every color a meeting. Her textiles breathe diversity, strength and vulnerability at once. And yes — sometimes you may simply fall right into it, shoes off, disappear into that world of positivity and sensuality.
