The camedia 8080 is the latest in the Camedia high-end line. Like the others (7070, 6060, 5050), it is a camera designed by taking cues from professional SLRs, packing the features into a fixed-lens body with surprisingly strong performance for its time, offering excellent resolution and color reproduction.
Although it is an evolution of the 7070 (which has always been my favorite), the camera remains more delicate than the previous models, perhaps to save weight without losing features. The evolution of the zoom is the touch that was missing from its predecessors. The lens brightness is consistently good, starting from f/2.4 here. The simple and intuitive Olympus menu, and especially that of the Camedia series, makes it easy to use even for beginners while retaining important prerogatives for professionals who can push it to professional levels.
I paired it with a tailor-made ready-to-use bag for it and its various accessories.
It remains an excellent camera, very versatile for every occasion, including bench work.
This is a private sale with a seen-and-liked basis.
The photos are an integral part of the description, reflecting the condition of the item.
It will be well-packaged and shipped by courier.
