Description from the seller

Nineteenth-century Dutch wooden marquetry table, characterized by a waved and shaped top with rich decoration of clusters, floral motifs and scrolls arranged within a central medallion composition. The plinth band features a wavy course and decorative marquetry with floral and figurative subjects, in harmony with the waved profile of the piece.
The legs, slender and slightly curved, are worked in a rocaille taste, with carved details and marquetry decorations. The whole presents good workmanship and decorative quality, traceable to the Nordic-European eclectic tradition of the nineteenth century.
A piece with a pleasant scenographic impact, suitable both as a coffee table and as a decorative element in classical, eclectic, or representative interiors.
