Rare and remarkable covered powder box decorated with a sculptural floral motif attributed to Roger Capron, featuring two double leaves and a stem that extends from the body of the box to the open flower forming the knob of the lid. The overall composition is organic and harmonious, of great finesse.
The decoration is executed using the paraffin wax-resist technique, giving depth and richness to the design while highlighting the freshness of the enamels.
The piece is in perfect conservation, with no chips or cracks, and with colors of exceptional vivacity. The original powder puff is still present, an extremely rare element.
The piece is signed on the base: CAPRON VALLAURIS A 47, confirming very early production by the artist.
