DFlab Studio - Coffee table - Kaus - Carrara marble, Steel

This coffee table emerges as the evolution of my research on the relationship between mass and lightness. At the center of the project is marble, a material historically tied to solidity and permanence, here reinterpreted through a more contemporary synthesis. The entire structure is designed to give the slab a sharp visual presence, almost suspended, reducing every superfluous element to a minimum. The choice of marble is fundamental: in this case, a Carrara with an extremely white base and marked veining, capable of defining the piece's identity with immediacy and depth. The result is a work that unites formal rigor, material tension, and elegance, transforming the weight of stone into a perception of lightness.
