Val Saint Lambert, a Belgian Wolf-pattern miner’s flame safety lamp from circa 1900–1925, in good condition with small signs of ageing, made of brass and steel with original Val Saint Lambert glass and weighing about 1.57 kg (H 28 cm, Ø 9 cm).

Description:
A rare and complete example of a Belgian-made "Wolf-pattern" miner's safety lamp, likely produced in the early 20th century. This is a high-specification model used by mine deputies and firemen for safety inspections. Dimensions are: H 28cm, diameter 9cm and weight 1,57kg.

Authentic Glass: Features original, heat-resistant glass marked "Lambert D.S. 4" from the world-famous Val Saint Lambert glassworks.
Dual Working Mechanisms: Unlike many display models, both internal controls are fully functional. The precision threaded screw-wick adjuster and the friction spark re-lighter (striker) move smoothly.
Complete Internals: The lamp is sold complete with its internal double gauze safety system and original fuel vessel.
