Splendid clock in black marble, carved and hand-engraved.
Delicate inserts of Alpine green marble and fine decorations in gilded bronze.
Refined artisanal craftsmanship of great French elegance in perfect Napoleon III style (Second Empire).
The clock houses the precious A.D. Mougin Deux Medailles movement.
The clock appears in excellent condition, complete with original pendulum and winding key.
As I am not an expert, the mechanism should be checked and should be considered non-working.
Some slight signs of age visible in the photos.
Very fascinating and in good condition.
