Description from the seller

Large Art Deco vase in two-layer glass: a white layer of opaline glass on the inside and a swirled/mottled layer on the outside. The exterior is yellow-brown with a dark brown/transparent brown and rust-red marbled pattern. The decoration is also created by the air bubbles in the outer colored layer of the glass.

The vase is made of mouth-blown glass, blow-molded to achieve the somewhat flattened bulbous shape.

Art Deco vase from the 1930s, produced by the Verreries de Scailmont (Belgium) and often attributed to Henri Heemskerk. The Verreries de Scailmont, founded in Manage (Wallonia, Belgium) in 1901 and active until 1976. They were best known for enameled and satin Art Deco glass.

Neck diameter: 9.6 cm

In very good condition: no cracks, no breaks, no chips on the rim. The air bubbles in the glass form part of the vase's decoration.

Carefully packed and insured for shipment.
