Warrior weapon of the Salampasu (Katanga/Kasaï region, DR Congo).
This type of short sword served both as a weapon and as a prestigious status symbol within warrior societies.
Blade: Forged iron with a characteristic broad base and a tapering tip. Equipped with a beautiful natural patina.
Grip: Traditionally carved hardwood with a rounded pommel and the characteristic V-shaped notch at the base.
Sheath: Original leather, including the rare carrying strap and the distinctive long fringes at the bottom.
Condition: Good collectible condition with natural signs of aging.
Dimensions: 40 cm.
