​Magnificent and very complete 82-piece "Grand Apparat" service in fine porcelain, produced by the prestigious Foëcy S.F.P. manufactory (France). Marked "True Hard Porcelain" and "Limoges Enamel", this service embodies French excellence with its decoration of gilded twigs in 24-carat gold.
​Exceptional Quality:
The porcelain stands out for remarkable finesse and purity. The pieces show exceptional translucency (as illustrated in the photos where one can see the shadow of fingers and the maker's mark through the material), proof of high-quality hard porcelain, highly vitrified.
​Details of the Service (82 Pieces):
​Table Service (47 pieces): 24 flat plates, 12 soup plates, 11 dessert plates.
​Tea & Coffee Service (26 pieces): 11 cups, 12 saucers, 1 coffee/tea pot, 1 milk jug, 1 sugar shaker (without lid).
​Service Pieces (9 pieces): 1 Large tureen with lid, 1 porcelain ladle (very rare), 1 tart dish with gilded handles, 1 shallow round dish, 1 salad bowl, 1 large oval dish, 2 smaller oval dishes, and 1 sauce boat.
​Condition:
​Gilding: Very good overall condition. Note wear to the gilding at the center of 7 flat plates from use, while the rims remain superb.
​Structural details: 3 plates (1 flat, 1 soup, 1 dessert) show a hairline crack (very fine). The salad bowl has a small edge chip.
​Missing items: The sugar bowl is missing its lid. 1 cup and 1 dessert plate are missing to complete the dozen.
