Oriental decorative silver box from Asia, circa 1960–1980, marked Silver with an imperial dragon encircling the Chinese 福 symbol, interior partially gilded, dimensions 9.5 × 9.2 × 4 cm, weight 218 g, in good used condition.

Decorative oriental silver box – imperial dragon – gilt interior – Asia, 20th century
Elegant oriental decorative box made of silver stamped “Silver”, of excellent quality and refined artistic execution.
The piece features spectacular engraved and chiselled decoration with an oriental imperial dragon that surrounds the Chinese symbol 福 (Fu), traditional representation of happiness, prosperity and good fortune within Asian culture.
The dragon, a symbol of power, strength and protection in Eastern traditions, continues around the entire perimeter of the box, creating a continuous composition of great visual richness and strong decorative character.
The interior is partly gold-plated, a common detail on high-quality oriental objects intended to protect the inner surface.
stamped UNG SILVER, probably workshop production in Asia, possibly Japan / Hong Kong for export, second half of the 20th century.
