Description from the seller

Very large scraper made from the local flint of Spiennes and surroundings. Typical for the Middle Neolithic Michelsberg culture. This specimen still has residues of the silex nodule and sits very well in the hand.
The site of Spiennes near Mons is world-famous for its large number of flint mines and is one of the largest operations of this product in Europe. The modern local museum is definitely worth a visit.
In good condition and with no restorations

Dimensions 159 x 71 mm.
With every sold lot an authenticity certificate is provided

The seller guarantees that he has acquired this lot legally.
The lot comes from a Belgian collection.
