Beautiful, very large cordiform hand axe from the north of Mauritania
Desert patina with beautiful weathering marks.
Very elegant and fine example from the classic Acheulean. Made by Alanthropus Mauritanicus, a form of Homo erectus in these regions.
Dimensions 175 x 100 mm
Each sold lot will be accompanied by an authenticity certificate.
