Bakelite Swiveling Tray - Art Deco period from the 1930s

Rotating serving tray/plateau from around 1935. Item made of marbled brown bakelite with a black bakelite foot and an original protective glass plate. Around it are knobs for decoration and convenient for operating the turntable. No brand mark present.
Item in beautiful original condition. Dimensions: height 6 cm - diameter 47.5 cm
Inside of the tray diameter 45 cm - glass plate has a diameter of 44.8 cm

These kinds of bakelite trays were often made by Philips (Philite) in the Netherlands and Kreutz in Germany.
