An exquisitely hand‑engraved tested silver vinaigrette or patch box dating from around 1900, with a vermeil interior, European origin, dimensions 2.5 cm wide by 2.5 cm deep and 0.5 cm high, weight 14.6 g, no visible hallmarks but tested as silver, featuring rich floral and foliate engraving with a plain reverse cartouche for a monogram, in excellent condition.

The entire surface is covered with rich floral and foliate engraving combined with finely punched background decoration, demonstrating excellent period silver craftsmanship.
