Chair - Walnut, Vienna straw - Gondola - H: 85 cm

Napoleon III gondola chair from the mid-19th century, originating from the Veneto region, Italy.

Made of walnut wood, with a backrest carved in the shape of a lyre with symmetrical swans, and sabre legs. It retains its original Viennese straw seat, detachable.

A 15-day anti-woodworm treatment was applied some time ago, along with a light restoration using a wax finish, preserving and enhancing the material's original beauty.
The wood shows slight signs of use and aging, as can be seen in the close-up images.
