Centrepiece - Wrought iron - Basket in Liberty style

A splendid handmade centerpiece, wrought iron, and inside it a cup of emerald green glass.
The basket features artisanal wrought-iron workmanship finely decorated with leaf motifs. The handle of the basket has been worked in a very particular way; it is twisted.

The bowl inside is charming and of an appealing color, bright emerald green.
The style is Liberty. Period: late 19th to early 20th century.
Historically used as a bride’s basket.
