Doyen - Vase - Glass

A large black hyalite glass vase, Art Deco period, from Doyen’s Floralie series. The black ground is hand-painted with autumnal decoration depicting creeper leaves and berries. The foliage ranges from deep red-brown to light brown highlighted with yellow, and is punctuated by small white fruits.
The refined seasonal palette suggest the vase was most probably decorated in the ateliers of Léon Mairesse.

Excellent condition, no cracks or chips , no fading of the paint .
