Thorens TD-165 belt-driven turntable, manufactured in 1975 and weighing 8 kg, tested and working with an excellent physical condition, featuring a heavy nearly 3 kg platter and a floating subchassis on three springs, and supplied with a Philips GP400 cartridge and a new drive belt.

The famous Thorens TD 165, a classic with clear, stable sound and a very neutral character. The musical characteristics are very good.
As can be seen in the photos, this is a well-preserved specimen. There are almost no signs of use. The dust cover is also in good condition.
Due to the repair at the hinge points, the dust cover is again 100% functional.
Equipped with the nice Philips GP400 cartridge with a good stylus.
Comes with a NEW drive belt.
The Thorens TD-165 is a belt-driven turntable
It features a sturdy AC motor and a very heavy platter weighing almost 3 kg.
The sub chassis, consisting of the platter and tonearm, is suspended on three springs, making the player less affected by vibrations from the motor and from outside. This is one of the factors that contribute to the wonderful sound Thorens is so renowned for.
