The country was formed after World War I from parts of the various regions there. During World War II it was split into the region “Bohemia and Moravia” and “Slovakia.” In 1993 the country was split again into two independent new states, Czechia and Slovakia.
Collection classified in three Goldhahn slip-in albums of 60 white pages each, and a cover with postal pieces.
Contents:
Book 1 contains Czechoslovakia from 1918 to 1975; in book 2 the continuation of this country up to 1992/93, service and postage stamps, a large number of blocks and sheets. Then the disputed area East Silesia (SO) and the divided areas during WWII, Bohemia and Moravia and Slovakia. Also some postal pieces and postcards. In book 3 we find the new independent states Slovakia and Czechia up to 2024. Then a number of issues and maps, issued by the post.
In the attached envelope, 26 FDC envelopes, of which some were opened sloppily by the addressee. Since the envelopes were mailed, some also have stamps on the reverse side.
With the exception of one stamp, Czechoslovakia is complete from September 1927. The same applies to Bohemia and Moravia. The Czech Republic is complete for the years 1993 to 2002, 2005 and from 2022 to 2024.
All pieces have been scanned.
