19th-century table tobacco snuffbox. Wonderful, unusual, and rare piece from the early 20th century made with turtle shell (species: Scripta elegans - not CITES). These objects were generally intended for use as a snuff tobacco holder, although today it is a fascinating item to own as a collectible piece.
