With this piece, SKE pays homage to Goldorak, a mythical figure in Japanese animation and a true generational icon. Created in the imagination of the 1970s and having become a cult for several generations, Goldorak remains associated with an entire universe: Actarus, Euphor, Vega, the Golgoths, the Fulguropoing, the Astero-hache, the Cornofulgure, the Spacecraft, the Space Research Center, and the battle between Earth and extraterrestrial forces.

This composition celebrates Goldorak’s 50th anniversary, 1975–2025, blending Japanese aesthetics, calligraphy, vintage manga codes, and the energy of contemporary street art. Mount Fuji, vertical writings, golden splatters, and spray effects give the artwork a dimension that is both ceremonial, pop, and urban.

SKE revisits here one of the most powerful symbols of Franco-Japanese popular culture. The robot appears as a monumental, almost sacred figure, between childhood memory, commemorative poster, and contemporary pop icon. - ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. He was the winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes a mark in the digital art market, a major trend in recent years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

His canvases capture the aesthetics of "Hype": you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin).
