Burke & James Watson & Holmes Fingerprint box Camera Box camera

Burke and James - Watson & Holmes fingerprint camera from the 1950's. Uses 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 (= ca 6x9cm) sheet film; could probably be adapted to take a roll film back if desired. German lens, leaf shutter which works. Overall pretty good condition as seen in the photos. Uses 4 batteries which illuminate four bulbs built into the housing to illuminate the surface to be photographed. This has not been tested.

The shutter inside is working , release by pushing the button on top. On the back is a holder with focusscreen and to place the filmholder. Body is all metal .
The 4 bulbs are present , no batteries, therefore bulbs are not tested, comes with 2 double sided sheet film holders .
