Description from the seller
What a beauty!
The Gracia NR-54D1 is a vintage Stereo cassette recorder tape deck manufactured in Korea in the early 1970s (around 1974). It is considered a version of the Tokyo Tuna model, but with a distinctive black and silver finish with ivory white keys.
Main Features
Construction: The body combines wood, plastic, and metal, giving it a robust and classic aesthetic.
Visual Controls: It is equipped with illuminated needle VU meters to monitor signal levels during recording and playback.
Tape Compatibility: It includes a selector switch for chrome (CrO2) tapes and a noise reduction function.
Very difficult to find, especially in this condition.
A very notable feature of this model is that the recording and playback controls are variable (operational not only for recording as usual but also for manipulating the volume of each channel during playback)
Dimensions and Weight: Approximately 40 x 9 x 20 cm, with a weight close to 4 kg.
Due to its age, quality, and aesthetics, it is highly sought after by collectors on vintage audio enthusiast websites such as the HiFi Museum.
Fantastic state of preservation, both aesthetically and functionally*
*Everything is original and has never been technically reviewed, so the reproduction would probably be even better with one.
