Description from the seller
Elegant living-room coffee table with eclectic taste, crafted in veneered wood with a structure and supports in carved and patinated wrought iron.
The upper surface, with its characteristic wavy and contoured silhouette, features a refined veneer inlaid with decorative grain patterns of notable visual impact, enhanced by a lapped ebony edge. The subtop fascia bears at the center an ornamental element carved with a foliate motif.
The structure is distinguished by four legs in wrought and cast iron, finely worked with anthropomorphic and decorative motifs of Neorenaissance/Baroque taste, connected below by a contoured veneered wood shelf. The overall effect gives the piece a strong aesthetic presence and notable artisanal refinement.
Likely produced in the second half of the 20th century, the coffee table suits both as a classic furniture complement and as a decorative piece in eclectic or antique settings.
Conditions: good overall condition considering age and use, with slight signs of wear on the wooden surface and on the metallic patina.
Materials: veneered wood, burl wood, wrought iron and metal casting.
Style: Neobaroque / eclectic.
Era: 20th century.
An object of pleasant visual presence and refined decorative workmanship.
