For sale is a moodful, hand-painted oil painting on canvas that depicts a traditional African village scene.

Techniques: Oil on canvas (thickly applied paint).
Artist: Signed in the bottom right with “DABO”.
Origin: Acquired in West Africa (Gambia) in the early 1980s.
Subject: Authentic scene with kraal huts and people.

Age-appropriate, very good condition; the canvas is mounted on the back to a sturdy wooden frame.
