Magnificent Quad Hi-Fi Set: 303 Power Amplifier + 44 Preamplifier + FM4 Tuner - British Classic

For auction is an iconic British audio installation from the legendary Quad brand. This set, consisting of the famous 303 power amplifier, the versatile 44 preamplifier and the highly precise FM4 tuner, represents the golden era of Hi-Fi.
Quad is worldwide known for the philosophy "the closest approach to the original sound". This set is not only a technical tour de force with the unique 'Tilt' control on the preamplifier, but also, due to its timeless gray industrial styling, a beautiful object for the vintage-design enthusiast.

Characteristics:
- Quad 303: Known for its stability and warm, tube-like sound character.
- Quad 44: The most flexible preamplifier of its time with modular inputs.
- Quad FM4: One of the best-sounding FM tuners ever made, praised for its simplicity and musicality.

Warranty:
The audio equipment we offer is mostly vintage equipment aged 30 years or older. Each unit is carefully inspected by us, professionally cleaned and extensively tested before being offered for sale.

Despite this careful inspection, it may happen that a defect occurs upon receipt or after some time. Due to the age of the equipment, such faults can arise unexpectedly and are beyond our influence.

For that reason we cannot provide a warranty on vintage equipment. We understand this can be inconvenient and we think it important to be transparent and honest about it. Of course, we do our utmost to deliver each unit in as good a condition as possible.
