A Roman antique Syrian glass dropper bottle (flacon compte-gouttes) with an ovoïd moulded body and chevron decorative zig-zag lines, in translucide greenish‑brown glass, dimensions 79 × 46 × 46 mm, dating to the 3rd–5th century BC, provenance from a French private collection, very good condition and authentic/original.
Description from the seller
Dropper-type bottle with an ovate molded body adorned with chevron decorations. The decorations consist of parallel zigzag lines.
Flat, slightly concave base at its center, made of translucent glass in a greenish-brown color, with earthy deposits.
Funnel mouth, rounded lip, cylindrical neck constricted at the base and fitted with an internal dropper device.
