Italian double-horn antique anvil, cast iron, made in Italy by Arte del Ferro Sciuto Catania, dating from 1960–1970, in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear, dimensions 20 x 6 x 6 cm and weight 1.2 kg.

Antique Professional Double-Horn Anvil "Sciuto Catania" - Vintage
Rare and fascinating vintage double-horn antique anvil, a piece of authentic Italian industrial antiquity. The object features a sharp fusion on the base with the inscription "ARTE DEL FERRO SCIUTO CATANIA," attesting to its Sicilian artisanal provenance.
Technical Features:
Type: Double-horn anvil (one conical horn for curves, one pyramidal horn for angular folds).
Material: Wrought iron/high-quality steel, with excellent response to percussion.
Superior Details: Equipped with a square hole (hardie) for holding cutting tools and a round hole (pritchel) for drilling operations.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The top face is well preserved, with a natural patina that enhances its character without compromising functionality. Edges still well defined.
