High-quality secretary with an added top and an elaborate column cabinet, front veneered with pyramid mahogany.
Drop-down writing surface.
Middle section with drawers and mirrors.

Material: It is veneered with high-quality pyramid mahogany (flame mahogany), which gives the piece its characteristic deep red and vibrant grain.
Architecture: The architectural arrangement with a so-called “Temple top” (Tabernacle) and flanking columns with Corinthian or composite capitals is typical of upscale furniture from this era.
Construction: The piece consists of a base section with several drawers, a fold-down writing surface, and a distinctive top cabinet in the upper half.

The top cabinet can be removed for transport.
