Nutcracker - Copper - Old Pinang Scissors

This is an antique copper betel nut scissors, also known as a pinang scissors. Originating from Southeast Asia, specifically India or Indonesia. They were used to cut the hard betel nut into small pieces for consumption. The instrument functions as a combination of pliers, scissors, and nutcracker, made of brass with an iron cutting blade.
