A pair of Yongzheng porcelain plates from China, circa 22 and 22.3 cm in diameter and 3 cm high, weighing 675 g in total, decorated in Doucai enamels with a central blossoming shrub and an An Hua blue and iron‑red rim, with one plate cracked and rim chips and the other very good, not sold with a stand.

A superb pair of Yongzheng porcelain plates, measuring circa 22cm and 22,3cm in diameter and together weighing 675g, the central medallion decorated in Doucai enamels to depict a blossoming shrub, the wide surrounding ring sketched in "An Hua" 暗花 secret enamels depicting crane birds and plum blossom, within an intermediate ring of underglaze blue and an outer rim decorated in iron red and gold. Marked to the underside with two blossoming branches.

A similar plate is in the permanent collection of the Groninger Museum, inventory number 1929.0171 (described as Famille Verte).


Condition: One plate with crack to the flat and minor rim chips. The other plate is very good with no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
