Bohemian hand-blown Seashell Art Nouveau glass vase by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn, circa 1905, with a spiral body in clear glass and a green netted upper decor on a green applied foot, measuring 11 cm wide, 17 cm high and 11 cm deep, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.

Hand-blown masterpiece — virtuoso glass art from the famous Bohemian glassworks Wilhelm Kralik Sohn
(Erequently wrongly attributed to the Loetz glassworks (Johann Loetz Witwe).)
Bohemian Kralik art glass in shell form. An organic shape in white/green art glass.
These Seashell shapes are found in the West Virginia Museum of American Glass, Monography No. 59., Czech Glass Catalog featuring Kralik.
Origin: Kralik Glassworks
Such pieces were often produced in the Bohemia region (modern-day Czech Republic), known for its high-quality glass art in the Art Deco and Art Nouveau eras.
Condition: very good, – see photos. Also at the rim there are no flea bites, chips, etc.
The Kralik manufactory became famous for high-quality, often iridescent (shimmering) art glass in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Styles: Kralik produced many famous lines that gained worldwide fame and received numerous awards.
Innovations: Often the glass featured refined silver inlays, melted decorations, or bronze mounts. The quality rivaled that of famous competitors such as Tiffany or Loetz.
