Art Deco Tango glass vase from Bohemia, dating to the 1920s/30s, made of red opal glass with a black stand and mouth, featuring a detailed silver overlay of a parrot, height 26 cm with a top diameter of 8.4 cm and a depth of 10 cm, in very good used condition with minor wear and the original Made in Czechoslovakia export stamp.

Art Deco Tango-Glass Vase – Bohemia ca. 1920/30 – Silver Overlay Parrot – Red

- Origin: Czechoslovakia (Bohemia), ca. 1920s / 1930s
- Material: Hand-blown, vivid red opal glass with black base and mouth rim
Details of the Decor
The absolute highlight of this vase is the artistic silver-overlay decor (or high-quality silver enamel painting).
It shows a meticulously worked parrot perched on a rod inside a graphic, triangular frame.
The motif is typical of the Art Deco language of form and captivates with the combination of the strong red of the glass and the noble, dark patina of the silver
