A DOLOSCI Laveno Diamond Stone porcelain coffee service in ivory, designed by Guido Andlovitz, dating from 1940s–1950s, with six cups and six saucers plus a teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug, featuring hand-finished red profiles and multicoloured floral motifs in a retro ribbed form.
Description from the seller
This is a refined SCI Laveno service in ivory-color "Diamond Stone," distinguished by ribbed forms with a retro taste. The decoration features delicate multicolored floral bouquets and hand-finished red profiles that highlight its flowing lines. It is a classic of Lombard craftsmanship, signed with the design characteristic of Guido Andloviz’s era. The eagle mark and the inscription "Diamond Stone" place this service between the late 1940s and the 1950s. It is the period when Laveno’s manufacture, under the artistic direction of Guido Andloviz, perfected these "old Milan" lines that united the sturdiness of earthenware with a traditional aesthetic much loved by Italian families in the postwar years.
The service is composed as follows:
tea pot 20 cm, sugar bowl h 10 cm, milk jug h 7 cm, 6 cups h 5 cm, 6 saucers D. 13 cm
Good overall condition, some natural signs of time and material defects as shown in the photographs.
Please view the photographs carefully. Tracked shipping with secure packaging included. Any duties and customs taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer.
