Pair of Giant Lamps in Space Age Style – H 47 cm – Table or floor lamps. Produced in the 1990s.
Description:
A splendid pair of large-scale lamps, produced in the 1990s as a tribute to the Space Age design of the 1970s. These pieces combine the timeless aesthetic of organic forms resembling an egg/pinecone with the practicality and safety of modern materials.
Strengths and Build Details:
Versatility in decor: Thanks to the 47 cm height and a stable base, they can be used both as imposing table/buffet lamps and as evocative floor lamps for atmospheric lighting.
Materials: White opaline plastic diffuser of high quality, highly resistant and easy to clean, which spreads a pure, bright white light from the center outward.
Premium base: Unlike cheap replicas, these lamps stand on an internal iron structure and have a velvet-like fabric-covered bottom, ideal for protecting delicate surfaces like marble or parquet.
Wiring: Original 1990s electrical system, up to standard and fully functional, with European safety mark.

Condition:
Excellent overall condition, glossy plastic well preserved. Minimal signs of use consistent with age (1990s). A striking addition for interiors in the modernariato or minimalist style.
In the last photo I included a soccer ball to give a sense of scale. Note: one of the lamps needs a bulb replacement; it works but needs changing.
