Meyer-Optik Görlitz Oreston 1.8/50mm, a classic East German standard lens with manual focus.

The Oreston 50mm f/1.8 is known for its characterful vintage rendition, soft bokeh and warm colors. This lens later formed the basis for the well-known Pentacon 50mm f/1.8 and is popular with both analogue photographers and users of digital mirrorless cameras with adapters.

The lens has been tested and is working. Focusing operates smoothly, the aperture responds as it should, and the lens is usable. Cosmetically there are normal signs of wear consistent with its age, see photos.
