Description from the seller
PERU. Lima. 1 Sol. 1935
- Value: 1 Sol.
- Year: 1935.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: FIRME Y FELIZ POR LA UNION. Reverse: REPUBLICA PERUANA · UN SOL · 1934.
- Grade: AU58 (NGC).
Silver 1 Sol coin featuring the seated Liberty allegory on the obverse, depicted with spear and shield, in a classical style with balanced composition, good rendering of the drapery folds and correct definition of the symbolic elements. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Peru inside a vegetal crown, with the quarters well identifiable and the legends clearly legible. Example in an almost uncirculated condition, with firm relief and very light wear concentrated at the highest points, preserving appreciable original lustre in the fields and a uniform gray patina that enhances the overall appearance and adds visual appeal.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or within the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped by your local customs and they might require you to pay taxes. This is a customs/legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
