Description from the seller
GENERAL
With great pleasure we present one of the most refined Italian classics from the early 1960s: the Lancia Flaminia 2.5 3C Convertible. As the former flagship of Lancia, this car represents an era when the brand was known as the 'Italian Mercedes' — a title it earned through uncompromising engineering and a level of finish that was unprecedented at the time. This specific example is finished in the sought-after 3C configuration and fitted with the hand-built Touring Superleggera bodywork.
With a production number of only around 246 units, this is a considerably rare Lancia, making it a unique collectible.
BODYWORK & PAINTWORK
The body is a technical masterpiece from Carrozzeria Touring: a feather-light aluminum skin over a fine-meshed tube frame. The paintwork is in very beautiful condition with hardly any signs of use. The car has clearly been cared for with great attention and affection, which is immediately visible in the tight gaps and the deep gloss of the paint. The close-up photos confirm the exceptional condition of the exterior and emphasize the timeless elegance of this design.
TECHNICAL
Under the hood sits the refined 2.5L V6, equipped with the famous 'Tre Carburatori' (3C) setup. The three twin Weber carburetors not only deliver lively power of around 140 hp but also a fabulous intake sound. The full mechanicals, including the engine block, brakes, clutch and exhaust, were renewed five years ago. Since this refresh, the car has been used only in good weather and has been maintained punctually each year with fresh fluids and filters. The engine starts immediately and the transmission shifts smoothly, with the transaxle layout ensuring perfect weight distribution and surprisingly modern driving characteristics.
INTERIOR
The interior exudes the atmosphere of classic Italian grandeur and offers an authentic driving experience. The leather interior is in decent condition and the carpet is fresh and well-kept. The dashboard and door panels are also preserved in an excellent, undamaged state. Although the convertible top is somewhat older, it remains in good and fully functional condition, matching the cared-for character of the rest of the car.
DOCUMENTS
The car is supplied with the necessary documentation to substantiate its history and high condition. Invoices of recent maintenance and the technical updates of the past years are available for serious interested parties to review.
COLLECTION
You are warmly welcome to view this masterpiece in person and experience the quality for yourself. The car can be collected on-site after purchase. In consultation, we can of course assist you in arranging suitable transport to the desired destination.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
