Vintage Akai GXC-310D cassette recorder (to be refurbished)
Iconic top-loading model introduced in 1975, renowned for its exceptional mechanical stability and the longevity of its components. The unit is characterized by the famous ferrite glass-crystal heads (GX) that guarantee virtually no wear and extremely high audio fidelity.
The module adopts a closed-loop dual-capstan transport system assisted by a hysteresis-synchronous motor with an outer rotor, a configuration that minimizes wow & flutter. Visually it presents the classic silver design of the era, enriched by two large illuminated analog VU meters and wood inserts.
