The Royal Canadian Mint continues its cherished Pysanka coin tradition with the 2026 issue – the eleventh coin in the acclaimed series honouring the Ukrainian art of Easter egg decorating. Designed by Canadian artist Natalie Kit, the coin is adorned with vibrant spring blossoms such as pussy willows, scilla, and forget-me-nots – flowers that nourish the season's first pollinators and symbolize rebirth after winter.

Traditional pysanka motifs run throughout the design, where geometric bands represent the elements of air, fire, and water.
