Four wooden speculaas boards in antique style from the Netherlands, dating to around 1850 on the oldest plank with the other boards around a century old, in good condition with minor signs of aging and spots.
Description from the seller
Age: three boards of about 100 years old, the board with three depictions about 1850
The dimensions above are for the largest board.
Other boards: 68 by 11.5 cm, 40 by 12.5 cm (board from about 1850), 23 by 17 cm.
We offer you: four speculaas boards; two elongated ones with depictions of so-called kleingoed, one board with a cow, and then a board with three depictions of riders on horseback. The last board is the oldest board with a very beautiful old patina; the board with the cow is a beautiful piece of folk art. Pay particular attention to the elongated bands on the cow’s body, nicely smoothly carved.
We have also taken good photos that are representative of these boards we are offering.
