Office chair ICF Aluminium Group EA117, swivel, with a brushed aluminum frame, 4-star base with glides and red hopsak fabric upholstery. The chair is in good condition, with a cut on the fabric at the front and light signs of wear on the fabric and on the aluminum, as shown in the photo.

The Aluminium Chair is one of the great design pieces of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames conceived and designed this chair in 1958 for the private residence of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). For its creation, the designer couple abandoned the shell-seat principle, instead stretching a panel of fabric or leather between two side aluminum elements to create a taut yet elastic seat. The chair adapts to the body and is very comfortable, even without complex padding.
