Authentic Chinese Imari export plate, Qianlong period, 18th century (approx. 1730-1760), made for the VOC market in Japanese Imari style.
Decoration: richly hand-painted in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red and gold. Depicts a blooming peony and prunus branch by a garden gate with a willow.
Dimensions: diameter approx. 22 cm, height approx. 3 cm
