Its design features a stepped lid and a border adorned with "Pearls"—very characteristic of Edwardian-style tableware—highlighting its top finial; the handle on the lid has a striking pineapple-shaped form (a classic symbol of hospitality and welcome in table decor).

This dish is not new but well preserved and very bright; notable is a small side crack without fracture, visible in the penultimate images.
