Land Rover Range Rover Classic 300 Tdi (1996) – Restored Chassis & Bodywork, Well-Documented Service History
Presenting a Range Rover Classic 300 Tdi with a long, fully documented maintenance and restoration history carried out almost entirely by a specialist Land Rover workshop (TorresLand, PT).
Engine & Drivetrain
Engine replaced with a rebuilt/used 300 Tdi unit (supplied with a 1-year warranty at the time), including new water pump, timing kit, oil seals, alternator belt, thermostat, expansion tank and coolant hoses.
Radiator core replaced.
Reinforced clutch kit fitted (TDI/VM reinforced type).
Turbocharger rebuilt in 2021, with new exhaust manifold gaskets and turbo oil drain seal.
Vacuum pump replaced in 2021.
Gearbox, transfer case and front/rear differential oils renewed.
Fuel injector pump cleaned, adjusted and reseated.
Chassis & Bodywork
Structural chassis restoration, including rust removal and anti-corrosion treatment.
Full exterior bodywork correction and repaint by a specialist workshop.
D-pillar vinyl trim reconstructed, along with associated interior wood kit, door trim and window switch/molding restoration.
Brakes & Suspension
Front brake caliper and pads replaced.
Rear brake pads renewed (most recent service, 2026).
Front and rear anti-roll bar bushings and ball joints replaced.
Routine Servicing
Engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and cabin filters renewed on a regular schedule.
Wiper blades (front and rear) replaced.
Coolant/antifreeze renewed.
MOT passed at each service interval, most recently in April 2026.
Extras
Battery replaced approximately 6 months ago.
