Miranda DR 35mm SLR with a Soligor 50mm f/1.9 lens, in very good condition and tested and working, dating from 1960–1970.
Description from the seller
This is a single-lens reflex camera Miranda DR 35 mm, manufactured in 1961 by Miranda Camera K.K.
Although it was made in Japan, roughly at the time this model was current, most Miranda cameras were not sold on the Japanese domestic market. This camera has very likely been sold in the United States by a company called Allied Impex Corp, or AIC for short. Miranda cameras boasted fairly ambitious features such as interchangeable finders and a dual bayonet/44 mm lens mount. Early Mirandas like the D model were generally well built. The DR model was probably not in production for very long because Miranda tended to continually evolve its models with new features, so the models changed rapidly. The D model in 1960, the DR in 1961, and the F in 1963.
The model presented is in very good condition and works perfectly. It comes with its standard 50mm Soligor lens, 1.9, beautifully bayonet.
The body is clean, with a small dent on the back (photo).
Lenses very clear with no fungus or scratches.
The diaphragm and the range adjustment work well.
The lens shows signs of use.
A very nice set.
Part of the Miranda collection that I particularly cherish in my collection.
