Antique walnut three-drawer chest from 1850–1900 in a vintage Italian design, with a marble top and lockable central escutcheons, measuring 110 cm wide, 100 cm high and 50 cm deep, originating from Italy (Toscana or Lombardia) and in good condition.

Item located in Olgiate Molgora, Province of Lecco
Antique chest of drawers dating to the second half of the 19th century, characterized by a sober style linked to the Louis-Philippe period or the late Empire.
Main features:
* Top: Carrara white-veined marble slab, a classic element widespread in 19th-century Italian and French chests of drawers to protect the wood beneath.
* Construction: Three linear drawers with knob handles in metal or wood and central escutcheons for the locks.
* Wood: Dark, warm-toned wood, presumably walnut, very popular in furniture production of the era.
* Base: Frontal support by turned feet (also called “onion” or spindle feet), a construction detail typical of the central-northern Italian artisanal tradition (as in Lombard or Tuscan chests).
