Description from the seller

Original Elastolin soldiers WWII - Music Corps (see pictures)

18 x soldiers (music corps)
rare figures

Elastolin: mass figures were produced as early as 1880 in Austria by the Vienna-based company Emil Pfeiffer, which became world-renowned for the “[…] loving and colorful painting” of its figures.[1]

Around 1900 production began in Germany. Similar to tin figures, the range covered a vast thematic spectrum, but primarily focused on war toys. Accessories such as vehicles were mostly made of tin sheet; occasionally there were mixed forms, for example tin carriages with crew and horses made of mass. As many manufacturers adhered to Hausser’s sizing standards, the products were often interchangeable with each other. Since many manufacturers did not specialize solely in war toys but also depicted organizations and leadership personnel of the Nazi regime in their figures, a revival of production in all occupied zones of Germany after World War II was difficult.

Very beautiful collection of detailed figures.
A must for every collector.

Note: Costs for parcel shipping include packaging, shipping, postage, tracking fees, and insurance up to €500.
Figures are fragile. Damage may occur during shipping.
