Description from the seller

Beautiful antique Willem III-style side table / desk from the last quarter of the 19th century (c. 1870–1890).

This atmospheric piece of furniture is crafted from warm-toned walnut and immediately stands out for its very rich and deeply carved central tripod pedestal, adorned with monumental acanthus leaves and elegant volutes.

The top features characteristic clipped corners and houses a deep, smoothly running drawer across the full width, artisanally constructed with classic dovetail joints. The interior is neatly lined with green felt.

Dimensions
Width: 83 cm
Depth: 48 cm
Height (top of the tabletop): 73 cm
Height to underside of drawer: 61.5 cm

Condition and stability:
The table is in good and exceptionally solid antique condition. To guarantee absolute stability and prevent any wobble, a small piece of wood has been subtly added under the legs to compensate for a slight misalignment in one leg. The table stands perfectly straight and is very stable. The top surface has, in the past, been given a varnish coating, which shows scattered light, non-intrusive wear marks that contribute to the authentic patina.

Shipping & Assembly:
To prevent transport damage and optimize shipping costs, the table is disassembled prior to shipment (the top is separated from the legs). The furniture is carefully packaged and shipped insured as an XXL package with registered delivery. Assembly is extremely simple afterward and can be achieved in a snap with just 4 screws.

P.S.: the second and the last 3 photos were created with the help of AI to create atmosphere.
